Global Health Distinction Track

The Global Health Distinction Track offers motivated PLFSOM medical students an opportunity to explore the social, cultural, and systemic factors that influence health around the world. Through supported learning experiences, mentorship, and engagement in global initiatives, students gain a deeper understanding of health disparities and the skills needed to serve all populations around the world.

Designed for students with a clear interest in global health, the track focuses on healthcare delivery in resource-limited settings, public health challenges, and cultural awareness. Eligible students may pursue specialized coursework and experiential opportunities that enrich their medical education and broaden their perspective on global health challenges.

This distinction track is available to enrolled PLFSOM medical students.
