All local physicians are invited to our monthly grand rounds presentation and journal club.

At these meetings, a TTUHSC El Paso faculty member or local eye doctors will present a pathology case for review and discussion. Digital projectors and computers will be provided for anyone who wishes to use PowerPoint or computer programs for their presentation.

We will also review all recent relevant literature for discussion and critical analysis. We encourage local eye doctors to address any recent literature for validity or clinical practicality. //more

Our mission is to improve the quality of life of all our patients through the prevention of blindness and improvement of sight. We will strive to bridge the quality of care gap to our minority patient base, while promoting research and new innovations specific for the care of these patient populations.

We will uphold the highest ethics in the medical management of our patients while fostering a progressive learning environment for our students and physicians of tomorrow.

We will exceed the expectations of those we serve while providing a meaningful education experience for the culturally diverse community upon whom we depend for our future well-being.
