Application Process
Qualifications:
Completion of an ACGME-accredited 5-year General Surgery residency by August 2027 (or currently in progress) is required.
Candidates must be eligible to sit for the Surgical Critical Care board examination and be eligible for a TMB license.
Note: Our Institution does not sponsor visas, and the department is not accepting J-1 applicants.

The NRMP Match Program
The 2027 Match Season (fellows matriculating Aug. 1, 2027) officially begins in June 2026 with interview of prospective applicants to our program occurring June through August (Tuesdays). Scheduling of interviews will begin in mid to late May. Rank order lists, registration and match date information can found at the National Resident Match Program (NRMP).
