Limited Submission Request for Applications Internal Review Announcement

The Breast Cancer Alliance is accepting applications for funding for its Young Investigators Grants
program. Only two applications per institution are permitted.
If you are interested in applying to this limited submission funding opportunity, you must submit a completed Limited Submissions Internal Review form to the OVPR. You will also need to attach the documents listed below to the completed form to be considered for this funding opportunity:
- Specific Aims – One-page limit, in Arial 11-point font, with 0.75- or 1.0-inch margins. Clearly and concisely state the goals of the proposed project and summarize the expected outcome(s).
- Effort Commitment(s) Outline – List all of your current and planned effort commitments (this includes time spent on research, educational activities, clinical duties or other work activities). The level of effort for each commitment is required.
- Department Chair Letter – One-page limit. A signed letter is required from your department chair certifying that at least 50% of your work effort will be dedicated to research (as required by the sponsor), and that you will be relieved of other duties if an award is made by the sponsor.
- If applicable, please include an approved Request for Exception for PI Status – This is needed if you do not meet the Requirements for Principal Investigator Status in TTUHSC El Paso OP 08, 73.08a, 73.08b.
The Office of Sponsored Programs will notify applicants no later than May 20 if their proposed project has been selected for subsequent submission to the sponsor.
